Treatment Goals

Here are some of the treatments that are used to reduce or stabilize tumor size and alleviate symptoms.

• The primary goal of NET treatment is to remove the tumor by surgery. Depending upon the location of the primary tumor, or if the tumor has spread, this may not be possible.
• To alleviate symptoms
• To control the growth of the tumor
• To maintain a good quality of life for the patient
