Worldwide NET Cancer Awareness Day is flexible at a local/national level

Depending on the local environment, Partners and Supporters can choose to organize NET Cancer Day around one single day or a week; around one large event or many smaller ones. Some organizations may prefer to focus entirely upon awareness raising, while others may also use the day as an opportunity for fundraising for their organizations. The NET Cancer Day website offers a variety of tools to help with local campaigns.

Reaching out to the medical profession

As the focus of this year’s Worldwide NET Cancer Awareness Day is “Early Detection,” member organizations are encouraged to invite physicians and other healthcare professionals to their events.

Local groups may choose to organize educational events for healthcare professionals, with the aim of increasing understanding and awareness of NET cancers among this crucial group.

NET Cancer Day is an annual, awareness-raising event coordinated by The International Neuroendocrine Cancer Alliance (INCA) at an international level, and comprised of representatives from our Partner organizations. Read more http://incalliance.org/
